This hike runs completely over open terrain and is therefore very sunny in good weather. High above at over 2,000 meters, you can enjoy a fantastic mountain view.
From the valley station in Laax take the mountain railway to the starting point of the hike at Crap Sogn Gion. You will be floating past the snowparks, where with some luck you can watch a daring trick. You hike mostly gently uphill along the mountain ridge to your destination, the Crap Masegn mountain station, located below the same named peak. At both the starting point and the destination of the hike, you will find a place to stop for refreshments. Once at the top, you can take a mountain railway gondola back down to the valley.

By post bus from Chur to Bergbahnen Murschetg Laax, or from Flims or Falera by local bus to Murschetg.
