The route runs along enjoyable forest roads or side roads.
In uncertain weather conditions, the route should not be started/reserved. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent.
From Ilanz towards Obersaxen, take the turnoff at Valata and drive to the valley station in Valata.
By RhB to Ilanz, then by PostBus to Surcuolm, Cavrida. On foot in 5 minutes to Restaurant Valata at the valley station of the mountain railways (railway from Valata closed in summer)
