Bike route: BL841 Romanesque Route. Rhône-Rhine bike loop towards Ottmarsheim

Step 1: reach the limestone-covered path on the other side of the nature house and head south along the canal. At the electric pole "Ecluse 44," turn left towards Grünhütte-Freiburg.

Cross the D39 (Grünhütte forestry house) and follow Ottmarsheim

Step 2: at the north entrance of Ottmarsheim, head towards the town center (right) to reach the Abbey, then return to the north entrance to take the bike path towards Bantzenheim.

Step 3: Keep going straight, crossing the communes of Rumershiem-Le-Haut, Blodelsheim until Fessenheim.

Step 4: upon arriving at Fessenheim, continue for about 400m then turn left (rue des Tilleuls).

Follow the VV13 then VV22 signs towards Hirtfelden to return to the nature house.

Be sure to bring proper equipment: a helmet, enough water, and a repair kit.
