Cammino di Sant'Antonio | Stage 1 Gemona-Majano

Passing through the historic center of Gemona, it is possible to see the Castle restored after the 1976 earthquake.

Caution is advised when crossing the Provincial Road at km 5.0 as there are no crosswalks and cars run fast.The route continues on secondary roads until Osoppo, where the Church of the Madonna della Neve can be visited. After passing through the center of Osoppo, follow a gravel road parallel to the Tagliamento and the old railroad to Gemona, where the Bars Resurgence can be seen. Cross the single-track railroad and continue to Regional Road 463, which you follow paying attention to traffic until you cross the bridge over the Ledra River.

The stage ends at the Hospitale di San Giovanni in Majano, built in 1199 on the remains of an earlier Longobard tower.
