Winter hike - Gschwendt round

On this peaceful hike, you follow Ludwigstraße northwards to the district of Gschwendt. Along the way, benches with wonderful views of the Ammergau Alps and Lettigenbichl invite you to rest. Upon arriving in Gschwendt, turn immediately right and pass under the federal road. Afterwards, the path leads you straight ahead and then right back to Bad Bayersoien.

With the perfect equipment, your personal winter day in the Ammergau Alps Nature Park will be unforgettable. Suitable winter equipment such as crampons (spikes for hiking boots), hiking poles, snowshoes, sleds, or cross-country skis can be rented at our rental stations:
