This easy winter hike starts in Bad Wiessee and first leads along the lake towards Gmund. We follow the cleared path further north, always staying close to the lake. After half an hour, the path gently ascends to the casino and from here continues on the foot and cycle path to Kaltenbrunn. Now we start the absolutely charming return route. This leads us from Kaltenbrunn first to Holz and then further, partly along the extensive cross-country skiing network, back via Rohbogen and Bad Wiessee.
From the starting point in the center of Bad Wiessee, it first goes along the lake promenade towards the Jodschwefelbad. At the yacht club, turn right, always along the water, the path now ascends up to the federal road (route 502). The following foot and cycle path to Gmund leads past the Bad Wiessee casino downhill back to the lake. Then it gently ascends to a nice place to stop at Gut Kaltenbrunn. The return route via the district of Holz (route 520) leads with beautiful views of Lake Tegernsee first to the Tegernseer Golf Club Bad Wiessee at Rohbogen. After the recycling center, opposite the local building yard, we turn right into the Schmerbachgrund and go downstream along the Breitenbach to the Evangelical Friedenskirche. Back to the starting point, it goes via Wallberg and Hirschberg streets to Adrian-Stoop street. Before reaching the Dourdanplatz parking lot, there are many places to stop and warm up. The route can also be started from Gmund station, which extends the round trip by about two kilometers (route 520 or foot and cycle path along the federal road to Kaltenbrunn).
