Kuhnigundenweg experience in Immenstadt-Diepolz

The Kuhnigunde Trail runs around the Allgäu Mountain Farming Museum and can be ideally combined with a visit to the museum before or after. The mascot Kuhnigunde accompanies you along the route and teaches you about nature and the landscape. Numerous play and information stations enrich the hike and promote awareness of the surroundings.

Along the way, a treasure hunt leads past forests, pastures, ravines and moors around Diepolz. Rare natural treasures can be discovered, their secrets revealed and knowledge about nature gathered. Adventure playgrounds and rest areas make the circular trail an experience for families.

How the treasure hunt works:

Punch a hole in the treasure map fan at the Allgäu Mountain Farmers' Museum or at the tourist information offices in Bühl or Immenstadt. Collect information about special natural treasures at the stations. Solve the riddle about the guardian of the natural treasure. Stamp the station card.

Anyone who masters all the puzzles can call themselves a "nature treasure expert" and receives a small surprise at the hand-out point.

Depending on the time spent at the stations, the hike takes two to three hours on a surface suitable for baby carriages and leads past numerous adventure stations relating to the forest and water.
