This circular route is a small all-round package. Starting at the forest edge with mountain panorama, into the forest, past waterfalls, and over small moor paths. There's no more variety in an hour.
From the parking lot, first go back a bit towards the road. There you can already discover the first hiking trail signs. The circular route symbol 18 will accompany us along the way. We follow the arrow with the symbol to the right along the forest edge. To our left, there is a picturesque view of the mountains with many cozy benches. Then we turn right into the forest and follow the forest road (Maximiliansweg) to the wooden bridge leading over the waterfalls. Then follow the signs to the right onto a small gravel path, which soon turns into a rustic forest path. After gnarled root paths, narrow paths (only for pedestrians!) follow through the moor. Anyone who jumps briefly here can feel the ground tremble. A sign that you are in the raised bog area. After the opportunity to fill our bottle at the fountain, there is a beautiful bench with a mountain view inviting you to take a break. We continue through the moor meadows until we reach a small wood. From there, we leave the small paths and soon reach wider gravel paths again. Now we always keep to the right. At the shelter with a panorama board, we follow the circular route sign through a cool floodplain forest and stay on the gravel path that leads us directly back to the parking lot. Shortly before the parking lot, we pass a rushing small river, here it is worth looking to the left to admire the bubbling water and cool your feet briefly. Then we reach the parking lot Lindenhof again. Have a safe journey home!

A break on the bench in the moor. Enjoy the mountain panorama with open eyes and a concert of marsh grasshoppers and meadow birds with closed eyes.
A visit to the village shop Grafenaschau is also very worthwhile after the route.
