Wasserfälle Rundweg in Burladingen

The route crosses the district road Salmendingen-Ringingen at the entrance to the parking lot, leads, with a beautiful view of the village of Salmendingen, dominated by the church, briefly through the upper residential area east under the Monkberg, then down to the shed area near Tellenbühl and straight on to the edge of the forest. Here, you can comfortably follow a wide wood removal path on the Albsteilhang down to the branched source area of the Wangenbach. Its waters spring in varying degrees of strength from the Weißjura Beta-Hangschutt and form picturesque cascades at one point, the "Salmendinger Waterfalls", which the path crosses directly. The way up the western Quellbach is still a short stretch, but becomes more strenuous when you have to climb up again on an Albverein hiking trail through a steep side valley gorge to the open Heufeld area. Solid footwear is recommended here.

However. the effort is rewarded by the fact that when you reach the plateau you suddenly and surprisingly close to the Kornbühl in front of you. Crossing it (as with Rundwanderweg 1) can be easily integrated into the way back with a detour of about half an hour. Without it, it is now almost flat on a forest path under the Monkhalde back to the parking lot.

Coming from Balingen/Rottweil:
Take the B27 exit B32/Sigmaringen/Gammertingen/Burladingen and then take the B32. In Killer turn left into Hofstättstraße. Follow the road to the centre of the village. Turn left into Seeheimstraße (K7162). Follow the road towards Ringingen. At the next junction turn left towards Salmendingen (K7161). Follow the road until shortly before Salmendingen turn left into the parking lot Geißhalde.

Coming from Stuttgart/Tübingen:
Take the B27 exit Nehren/Dußlingen/Dußlingen-Maltschach and at the roundabout take the third exit (L394). Follow the road towards Nehren. At the intersection with traffic lights turn right into Reutlinger Straße. Follow the road until just before the exit of the village. At the station turn left into Nehrener Gässle. At the next roundabout take the third exit towards Sonnenbühl. Then at the next roundabout take the first exit towards Talheim (L385) and follow the road. Drive through Talheim and continue along the road to Salmendingen. Drive through Salmendingen and shortly after the village exit turn left into the parking lot Geißhalde.
