2025 Bike and Hiking Heaven Opening "Hike into the Sankenbach Valley"

The hike to the idyllic Sankenbachsee in Baiersbronn starts at Rosenplatz and initially leads to the Sankenbach parking lot, where the first enjoyment station awaits you. Along the babbling Sankenbach, it continues to the playground.

After a gentle ascent, you reach the picturesque Sankenbachsee – a natural cirque lake, idyllically nestled in the landscape and crowned by an impressive waterfall cascade.

Directly below the waterfall, the next enjoyment station invites you to stay – the ideal place to fully enjoy the peace and beauty of nature.

Those who want can make a short detour to the waterfall from here and experience the natural spectacle up close.

An idyllic circular path leads around the Sankenbachsee and repeatedly opens up wonderful views of the sparkling water and the surrounding nature. Numerous benches and spots invite you to relax on the way.

The return path runs picturesque along the Sankenbach, past the wildlife enclosure and over the ski slope – where another enjoyment station invites you to a small refreshment.

At the end, you reach the festival ground on Schelklewiese – the destination of this year's Bike and Hiking Heaven Opening and a perfect place to comfortably end the route.
