The entertaining nature trail circular route showcases the treasures of nature around the Nagold Schlossberg.
Ten action stations invite you to participate, puzzle, and observe closely. For example, bark, leaves, and fruits can be assigned to the corresponding deciduous trees. You can also guess where certain bird species prefer to build their nests and look for their food.
Interesting facts are shared with both young and old explorers about the importance of the forest, the organisms in the forest floor, the nutrition of the animals living there, and the vegetation.
The trail is not only educational but also entertaining for the whole family.
Please note:
For safety reasons, two action panels have unfortunately been taken down recently. Efforts are underway to reinstall them at a suitable location as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Schlossberg
The Schlossberg with its castle ruins lies within the nature reserve "Heiligkreuz and Schlossberg." The medieval Hohennagold castle ruins stand prominently and are clearly visible from afar above the town of Nagold. It is one of the largest and most beautiful castle ruins in the region. From the ruins, you enjoy a wonderful view of the town at the confluence of the Nagold and Waldach rivers. In good weather, the view stretches to the Swabian Alb and far into the Black Forest.
Worthwhile destinations on the way there include the Hohennagold castle ruins, or at the end the bathing park or the mini-golf course in Stadtpark Kleb.
