The entrance to the Pirschpfad is found at the hiking car park "Weiherplatz" in the Bad Griesbach district. Here, walk a few meters downwards to the right of the information board and you will encounter the first signpost of the Pirschpfad. The red corner always indicates the direction to continue. Keep right and follow the path until you need to cross a small stream, then immediately turn right onto a very narrow path sneaking into the forest. You will cross various wooden footbridges until you reach a large tree staircase. Now you need to climb the tree staircase – but be careful. You sneak along wild blueberry bushes, pass a tree throne, and climb a small slope. A climbing rope helps you with the last little stretch upwards.
Once at the top, you reach a wide forest path, which you follow to the left. Pay attention to the signposts. After a few meters, a fork appears on the left. Leave the forest path here and follow the path that winds downhill through the forest. After a bend, you come upon the stream again, now on your right. Continue on the shaded path, over a small incline, and then reach a flat spot by the stream. Large colored sandstone rocks lie here so you can safely cross the water. Once on the other side, continue gently downhill through the forest until you reach a fork. Keep right here and stay on the wide forest path until you see a very narrow, somewhat hidden path on the left that leads downhill over tree roots. This path takes you to the pond area, which you cross and then return to the starting point.
