Around walking and cycling path - La Prairie du Val de Saône - Loop 6.3

Sport side
The loop "la Prairie du Val de Saône" is the easiest route in the department. This discovery loop is completely flat.
From the start of the route, at the port of Belleville-en-Beaujolais, cycling is done in a safe area on bike-only paths.
The rest of the ride, recommended for families, takes place on small roads with very little traffic.

Tourism side
These habitats, rare in France, are classified as Sensitive Natural Areas and also form part of the European Natura 2000 network. They shelter remarkable fauna and flora: European beaver, Eurasian curlew, reed warbler, spotted locustella, crested newt, marsh spurge…
Hiking routes cross this ecosystem where binoculars are necessary to discreetly observe the animals.
