Fünfweiher and Museum Burghalde

The horseshoe-shaped old town of Lenzburg at the foot of the hill is very well preserved. Lenzburg Castle, which is unmistakable from the town, is one of the oldest and most significant hill castles in Switzerland. 

On the hike, you leave the town to the nearby forest, where the Fünfweiher with its beautiful and well-equipped barbecue areas can be found. In summer, it is a guaranteed cool shady spot and a limitless nature adventure playground for children.

After returning to Lenzburg, a visit to the Museum Burghalde is worthwhile. This jewel of a museum, part of a historic architectural ensemble in a magnificent park, awaits discovery by young and old alike.
