Discover the La Praille Nordic site, offering a preserved natural setting for winter sports enthusiasts. The area stretches over 53 km of cross-country ski trails and 25 km dedicated to snowshoeing, suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced athletes.

There are 8 cross-country ski trails, including 1 fun area with a ski tow, 4 green trails, 1 blue trail, 2 red trails, and 1 black trail.

For snowshoeing, 4 marked circuits depart from La Praille: 1 green round-trip circuit, 2 blue circuits (including 1 with the forest animal trail), and 1 red circuit.

The Bugey Ski School offers Nordic skiing lessons for all levels and beginner alpine skiing lessons on the La Praille ski tow. Individual or group sessions are available by reservation at +33(0) 7 85 62 16 02.

Family activities include a sledding track at the start of the cross-country ski trails and snowshoe circuits, biathlon and laser rifle introduction organized by the Bugey Ski School in winter and summer, and dog sled rides—a unique shared experience in nature in winter and summer with "Au cœur des loups," by reservation at +33(0) 6 58 01 12 19.

For relaxation, there are two Nordic baths and an outdoor sauna. In winter, themed evenings are organized: “Cocooning” with head-shoulder massages from the bath, “Nordic,” and “Gourmet” evenings in partnership with the Auberge de la Praille. Information and reservations are available at the Haut-Bugey Tourist Office.

Food and services include a ticket office for ski and snowshoe passes, ski chair rental for people with reduced mobility, 2 self-catering rooms at the foot of the trails, and the restaurant Auberge de la Praille (+33(0) 4 74 35 29 81), which offers warm, friendly cuisine highlighting local specialties. Equipment rental is available below the Auberge de la Praille: cross-country skis for children and adults, skating, snowshoes, and sleds, as well as alpine skis for children up to 7–8 years old. The lodge offers full board, half board, or self-catering for up to 20 people in 3 rooms at the foot of the trails. Nordic ski waxing is available at the Mac Sport store in Hauteville, not directly on the Nordic site.
