Plaghera

From the village of Vedig in Santa Caterina take path S522, then cross the Rio di Sclanera and the forest of Cornogna until you reach the junction with path S522.2 up to the mountain huts of Sclanera. Here there is another junction: keep left up path S523. Pass the forest of Plaghera and the Santa Caterina ski area along a fairly flat path until you reach the Paradiso Refuge. Continue to the junction with the road to the Gavia Pass. At the bend follow the trail that leads to La Sella and then, at Ciogna, to Santa Caterina.
