Forsthofalm is located at 1050 meters and offers a breathtaking view of towering mountains, dark green firs, lush meadows, and the distant ringing of cowbells. In the midst of wild romantic nature, we are alone on the mountain, yet so close to vibrant Leogang. On our Rooftop Pool & Spa, we can soak up sunshine and experience surreal sunsets. In our wooden hotel, which smells of moon wood, you can surrender to your own rhythm and discover regional cuisine with influences from around the world in the evenings.

Winter
In winter, Forsthofalm is the perfect destination for you if you want to have your skiing experience right at your doorstep. Forsthofalm is located directly on the slopes in the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn ski area, offering countless possibilities. At our in-house ski rental, we equip you with the best equipment, whether for touring or carving.

Life is diverse and full of surprises. We live in the moment and decide spontaneously what we feel like doing. That means freedom to us. Sometimes we want to explore the mountains on a mountain bike or hiking, sometimes we feel like doing yoga, and sometimes we love to relax with a glass of wine with the background noise of cowbells. There is action all year round at our place - we are not only located directly at the gondola and therefore directly on the slopes, but also in the middle of Austria's largest bike park. With us, you live according to your own rhythm.

In the open show kitchen with grill and steak aging cabinet of the Essential-Elements-Kitchen, we place great emphasis on regional, seasonal, and organic products. The kitchen team of Karl Schmid thinks equally about vegetarians and vegans in all its creations and offers a wide selection so that every visitor gets their money's worth! In short: healthy, creative, sustainable, and above all incredibly delicious! Our chefs love to express their creativity and surprise us. That's why our dishes change daily, and we serve the main course in a sharing style with lively flavors from around the world.

Our rooms are a play of nature. You have a breathtaking view of the stone mountains and alpine meadows and hear the distant sound of cowbells. You feel like you are in a different world. Our rooms are made entirely of moonwood and are therefore free of glue or nails. This provides an authentic nature experience! In all our rooms and suites, you will find homemade herbal products, and the scent of Swiss pine wood is unique.

Our Rooftop Spa & Pool. An area surrounded by spicy mountain air, hot sauna infusions, the scent of alpine herbal soaps, and the refreshing water of the outdoor pool. We offer intelligent yoga sessions - indoor and outdoor in our dome with a view of the mountains. For energy-filled sessions, we also have a fitness studio with an alpine view and a Japanese tea bar on our rooftop.

As a vibrant retreat, we are not only specialized in wellness and relaxation but also love to celebrate life. Forsthofalm is perfect for breathtaking marriage proposals, birthday parties, team meetings, or photo shoots. Whether in the forest, in our Zendome, in meeting rooms, or on our rooftop terrace, we find the perfect location for you. We take life as it comes, which is why we also have spontaneous small events such as house music by the campfire, white nights, or an aperitif on the meadow. Our DJ Mark Kukka plays the sound of nature to accompany it.
