Hotel Heitzmann

Our 300 year-old hotel offers you tradition combined with contemporary comfort. You will be tempted to spend some time relaxing in the "Zirbenstube" decorated in Swiss pine, or two smaller lounges, the beer garden or patio.

We are partnered with the golf club so that we can offer you reduced green fees and pre-booked tee-off slots. Our hotel is centrally located and therefore serves as an ideal base for excursions, cycle tours and hikes. In winter the ski bus stops outside the front of the building, to take you into the world-famous Kitzbühel - Paß Thurn skiing area free of charge.

Our guests can choose between generously-proportioned rooms decorated in country house style with a sitting area (which can be used if necessary as a family room with a pull-out sofa-bed) or rooms in modern-style design with a balcony. All rooms have a shower / WC, a telephone and cable TV. Some are equipped with a safe.

We are proud to be members of the Hohe Tauern National Park Restaurateurs’ Association. For this reason, our cuisine consists mainly of regional products such as Pinzgau beef, Tauern lamb or free range eggs. In summer, customers can enjoy our meals in the shady beer garden or on the terrace with its lively atmosphere. In winter, the old tiled stove in our Zirben room is heated and exudes an air of homelike comfort. Exclusive Austrian wines, which are also available by the glass,
round off our menu.

Families enjoy staying in Hohe Tauern National Park hotels, one of which is the Heitzmann Hotel, and they are very welcome here. On Sundays and Bank Holidays, children are only charged € 5.00 for a child's meal and 1 drink. Don't miss this family hit! The residents' garden has a lovely children's play area to keep little ones amused.

The "Bengelbande" - a children's entertainment programme for the Hohe Tauern National Park Region - will provide kids' entertainment for the younger age groups. It's an action-packed week with something going on all the time!
