Like every year, a breath of fresh air blows through our resort, much to the delight of our visitors. This year, we're focusing on 3 not-to-be-missed events on our slopes!
*Chill out between two runs!
This winter, as well as the Nid de la Loze, skiers will be able to marvel at the beauty of the exceptional scenery from the new Nid de la Saulire. This unique spot invites skiers to relax and daydream between La Vizelle and La Saulire... The programme includes a cosy break in a small chalet equipped with giant deckchairs to contemplate the superb panorama!
Access via the Vizelle cable car.
Il Rifugio, Italy on skis for lovers of Italian cuisine.
If you're a fan of Italian cuisine, this is the place for you! A unique restaurant with a Mediterranean flavour, with a generous menu featuring pastas and pizzas, with a special mention for the Tiramisu... And what about the location... overlooking the Skiers' Hut, the gourmets of the day can enjoy a superb view of the Saulire, also served on a platter, either inside thanks to the glass roof or on the terrace!
Restaurant located at the foot of the Vizelle cable car and at the arrival point of Les Verdons.
Prices: Between €19 and €35
The new Picnic Room!
All skiers are invited to discover the new "Les Verdons Picnic & Relax" room. Make way for relaxation in this completely refurbished, warm and superbly equipped space: comfortable tables and chairs, of course, but also a microwave to heat up your meal, a glove dryer to keep your hands warm when you leave, free Wi-Fi to prepare your next runs and a smartphone charger... It's almost like being at home to recharge your batteries between two runs!
Free access during piste opening times, room located at the top of the Verdons gondola.
*Head Slalom, put your curves to the test!
In partnership with the famous ski brand Head, we will be inaugurating a new slalom course open throughout the winter season and accessible to skiers of all abilities. This brand new area has been specially designed to allow our skiers to experience the thrill of a descent between the poles... giving them the chance to put themselves in the shoes of our champion and ambassador: Alexis Pinturault.
The Head Slalom is located at the bottom of the Dou du Midi piste.
"Courchevel has many facets. Firstly because it is spread over 5 altitudes, then because its different levels are as many aspects, views and ways of approaching the mountains. Its rich offer in terms of non-skiing activities is another plus point for the resort, which makes constant efforts to satisfy and surprise its clientele. Here the expression “service à la carte” takes on its full meaning, and the insistence on quality is common to all levels of the resort.
5 LEVELS, 5 ATMOSPHERES, AND MAGIC EVERYWHERE
Courchevel can be approached by level. Five of them are revealed as you travel round the bends on a pretty mountain road ... Saint Bon, the birthplace of Courchevel, at an altitude of 1,100 metres The history of Courchevel began in Saint Bon, the original village. Le Lac Bleu, the first hotel built in the resort, has been welcoming guests since 1925. While there are no ski lifts starting from the village, there is a free shuttle service running every 20 minutes to the heart of the ski area, and it is possible to return on skis via a red run.
Courchevel 1300 - Le Praz, discreet charm
A genuine traditional mountain village with its houses, chalets and narrow winding streets, Le Praz has preserved its incredible cachet and all its spirit, with a true village life 365 days a year. It is the bastion of ski jumping, with its majestic Olympic jumping hills. As for alpine skiing, forest skiing enthusiasts will be delighted with the direct link to Courchevel 1850.
Courchevel 1550, young at heart
Excellent value for money at this truly family-oriented level, with fast direct access to Courchevel 1850 and the entire “Trois Vallées” ski area. The sledging run starting from 1850 and ending in 1550 is a pure joy to share with your kids!
Courchevel 1650 - Moriond, a party atmosphere
The first ski-lift was installed in Moriond (the original name of this level of the resort), a very sunny sector located on a balcony set back from the relief. The Courchevel 1650 ski area has a majority of green and blue runs. The combination of these two criteria makes it an area that is particularly popular with families. Conviviality is the keyword and the après-ski scene is much appreciated thanks to its many outing possibilities.
Courchevel 1850, a true jewel
Courchevel 1850 can only be described in superlatives. Stars have been showered on the most select level, which lies at the heart of the resort’s international renown, with luxury establishments whose excellence radiates and is passed on to the entire resort.
The link between the different resort levels is very fast
4 minutes by road between 1650 and 1850 (2.5 km) 5 minutes by gondola lift or chair lift to get to 1850 from 1550 8 minutes by gondola lift to get to 1850 from Le Praz"
