Cross-country skiing on the Albtrauf

Albstadt offers an extensive and very scenic network of cross-country ski trails. A total of 80 km of double-track and approx. 30 km of additional skating trails invite both ambitious and amateur cross-country skiers to Albstadt.

The trails are groomed on Wednesdays and at weekends, or as required in the event of heavy snowfall.

Some of the trails can be linked together so that up to 35 kilometres can be covered on one trail without having to use it several times. Climbs and descents of varying degrees of difficulty attract both leisurely ski hikers and sporty cross-country skiers.

Wonderful views, conveniently located parking facilities and the opportunity to stop for a cosy break at the end of a sporty cross-country skiing tour: cross-country skiers will find all of this in Albstadt.
